Our lightweight, sturdy tote bags, are designed to last for many seasons of grocery shopping!
It took time to find this cotton, and we might have not made it without our friend Christina from It’s a Shirt, who has been precious in helping us trace down the perfect fabric. We used an ultra-resistant, 100% raw Greek poplin, woven by the same family since 1948. After many samples and examples, we produced the bags here in Athens, in a workshop that cherishes nice details just as much as we do.
Weighting just 100g, our Market Tote is compact enough to fit in a pocket and as sturdy as necessary for carrying around the week’s veggies for two.
Our Market tote bag is produced locally from thread to thread, using a 180g cotton poplin woven in the town of Nafpaktos, from third generation weavers. It is light, sturdy and extremely compact. With proper care, it will last for many seasons of grocery shopping. Wash with similar colours at a low spin circle.
